So we have just begun week 6 here in NY and with only 3 full weeks left there is still so much to do. This last Friday we had our Dinner/Dance Cruise on the Hudson River. We boarded the Spirit of the New Jersey with about 400 other Dreamers and cruised down the river with amazing music and sights of the Downtown Manhattan. The boat had 3 levels to it, the top being an open deck with views of everything. We started at Chelsea Piers and made our way under the Brooklyn Bridge and up to the Statue of Liberty. The cruise lasted about 3 hours so we finished at 11.
Saturday came where unfortunately we were all extremely lazy and did not get ready adn out for the day until 3pm. Shane, Matt, myself and my suite mate Megan decided to go to the The Museum of Modern Art but could not spend as much time as we would have like do to the fact that it closed early. On Sunday a few of us joined other girls on a "Sex and the City" tour around the city. Our staff leaders took us to different locations that the show filmed at.
For this upcoming weekend, we have already made plans to go to Brooklyn and spend the day in Prospect Park and Williamsburg. I will also stop by my Opa's childhood homes. Then in the evening we are going to walk back across the bridge while the sun is setting!!!
