(from my iPhone-- better video quality is on it's way from my camera)
Hello :)
The last couple days have been good. I'm starting to really like the city. It's so busy, there's always something going on-- it's really stimulating. Really nice restaurants, really cheap restaurants, street vendors. Walking down the street can get smelly because the street vendors deep fry the hot dogs and the steam and smell blow down the street. There are smelly buses and cars. Some buildings have vents that blow warm smelly air out onto the street. The vents from the street blow warm air up. There are smokers on the sidewalks (the only way to make the city smell better is to inhale something even worse. This is why so many people in NYC smoke!)
This morning at work I felt like I was the only one there. I walked in at 9 and no one was there except for one guy. 20 minutes later I found out there were "staffing changes". I think we all know what that means. All the people that used to sit around me "left", so it was really quiet today. Anyway, I get more responsibility know so I'm not complaining, haha.
We had a thunder shower today and a really pretty sky after it ended. The video and pics above are my walk through Union Square after the thunder shower.
