what a weekend!!!

so here's a little cap on the last couple days in the city. Friday we all went out to this Club called Cain on the west side of the city. we had free drinks up until midnight, what a deal!!! Well we were not there very long before myself and my roomies left and went to this bar way downtown to meet up with Peter H. He and his marine friends had just gotten off their ship and were going out. So we get to the bar and its 21 and over, which cause a problem for a couple people in the group. So I ended up staying and hanging out with Pete while the others left. lets just say Marines know how to drink :). I left that bar around 2am, and got a taxi back to my apartment where my roomies were locked out becuase they all forgot keys and we all did get to bed till around 4am.

Now comes saturday where we all slept in till about 11, and really didn't get ready for the day till about 2. We had to clean up our apt. from the night before, so we through all the cups and dishes in the dish washer and put a little dish soap in it as well. Well we didn't have actual dishwasher soap so we used regular sink soap thinking it would do the same thing. Oh how wrong we were!!! About 10 mins after it started we hear our suitemate go "oh no" and we come out and look and there is buddles comeing from the bottom of the machine. Immediately we open the dishwasher and the inside is full of buddles. So we all grab our towels and try and clean it up, but to our dismay there was a puddle of water in the bottom of the machine that we could not clean. So we called maintance to come and help with the situation, and when they left he was like next time only use a little bit of soap....to that we replied we are never usuing soap again!!!

So that was the first part of the day. Now we head down to china town for a little illegal shopping where these persistent people take you into their secret rooms and try to sell you fake stuff that is way over priced. And all the english they know is "Gucci, Prada, Channel, Coach" !!! As we were walking around myself and another girl decided we needed to buy a real New York hot dog from one of those little stands. It was actually pretty good!!!

Well there isn't much more to say about the start of the weekend minus the fact that it is still raining and i think we may drown soon!!!!
